I sit here on a ferry to New Orleans watching a family wearing fanny packs. I want one. How convenient to have a pouch hanging just below your belly button!

I wanted a fanny pack too! Then I asked my parents if they had some from the 80s and I was in luck. I now own my dad's vintage fanny pack from the 80s by EMS (eastern mountain sports, which is an outdoorsy store the equivalent of like REI).
